English: Mo Farah during EC Cross 2008

For most amateur runners the main goal of a marathon is to finish it, but for professional runner Mo Farah this is just practice for his next year debut as a marathon runner. He usually competes in 5,000 and 10,000 metres races.

He tells us about his thoughts for the Boston Marathon’s victims, running in his hometown and warns us not to bet any money on him winning the race.

Vocabulary:

an odd = a chance or a risk, used for statistics
to pick = to choose
to be good to go = to be ready
my aim = my goal
